còn tread thì không có chỗ nào rẻ hơn  (nếu có đủ đồ thì xài 3/4" redoak flywood và real redoak nối lai .

Dùng red oak thì quá ngon rồi, nhưng 1/4" thì không đủ. Trừ khi nào MD định glue lại thành đôi.
Theo code thì riser should be no less than 1/2" thick.

cái này chă'c làm on top of old stair .. chứ làm nguyên cái stair lại thì không đủ đồ làm không đẹp 

Dụng cụ cung giản dị thôi.
Nail gun (pneumatic / cordless) kit = $150 - $200.
Simple table saw = $ 150 - $200. Mình tạm thời go cheap & rig up $50 4" circular cordless saw khi cần đến table saw. Khoảng vài tuần clean xong garage rồi build woodwork bench sau.
